Quorn Open Day Sunday 25th May 2025 A HUGE THANKYOU to all of the Quorn Bowls Club Volunteers who contributed in making our Quorn Bowls Club Open Day a really successful event. The positive feedback and comments were so pleasing for all involved. Comments such as:- excellent facilities - such a friendly Club - really liked trying the Bowls experience - Target Bowls excellent for families - very good tuition - enjoyed playing, will try again on Friday evenings - didn’t realise this delightful green space and Club was here in the centre of Quorn - nice Clubhouse, bar and catering facilities - looking forward to trying Bowls again - all positive for Our Club. Well done to all of the members who made the Open Day/Big Bowls Weekend a resounding success. Mal Mugglestone Development 07889 307989
Hi everyone, It is with great sadness that I have to let you know of the death of Barbara last night. She was a core member of the club and a past president, who was tireless in her work for the club. She was a great lady and will be sorely missed by all. She was Stephen Smith's aunt and I'm sure that on behalf of you all, I can assure Stephen of our sympathy, our thoughts and our prayers. I will pass on funeral detail when they are available. Kind regards, Andy

Hi everyone, I hope you have all had a good Christmas/New Year. Dave Radley is asking if there is anyone in the club who is a qualified first aider and who would be willing to be named in the handbook for this year. If so, please contact him. On another matter, I have to affiliate all our members by 21st February, which is before we actually sign on for this year. We do not get any refunds if I register someone who then doesn't join. So if you are a member, but are not planning to join as a FULL member this year, it would be helpful if you could me know. Many thanks, Andy
